A refuge in the heart of nature
Located in Sainte-Anastasie, perched atop a hill overlooking the Uzès plain on one side and the Nîmes garrigues on the other, the Mas d’Eyrolles estate unfurls its natural surroundings as far as the eye can see, making it the true host of this magical place.
Right in the middle of the UNESCO-listed Gorges du Gardon Biosphere Reserve, the Mas offers a peaceful haven of over 3 acres of clearings, garrigues and holm oak forests, some of which are over 500 years old. It is open for walks, and the many surrounding footpaths are just waiting to be discovered.
And for those who favour greener mobility, we also have a fast charging point dedicated to electric vehicles (EVs).
Almost 800 years of history
With its rich history, the Mas d’Eyrolles was founded in 1226 by the Duchy of Uzès as a priory dedicated to Saint Théodorit, one of the medieval town’s patron saints.
The stone-and-lime architecture, typical of the region, the old dry-stone terraces and the old Napoleonic path give this mystical and unusual place its character.

In the former sheepfold adjoining the priory, the Mas d’Eyrolles offers 6 air-conditioned countryside studios for 2 people, ranging from 25 to 45m2, renovated to keep their original charm, and equipped with private bathrooms and kitchenettes for your privacy.
Each also has its own terrace, so you can enjoy the landscapes at any time.
You can combine 2 communicating studios to accommodate up to 4 people.
A shared relaxation area with a heated pool
A relaxation area completes the estate with a heated pool, both of which invite you to contemplate and recharge your batteries thanks to the beauty of the landscapes. Ideal to recharge your batteries after a day exploring the region.
Offer your events an exceptional setting
The accommodations on our estate and/or its outdoor spaces can be booked for up to 70 people. Weddings, seminars, family reunions… take advantage of a unique venue just for you.
A place at the crossroads of paths and cultures
The Mas d’Eyrolles is ideally located between Nîmes, nicknamed the Little Rome, and Uzès, a Occitan medieval gem (15/20 minutes by car). Avignon, with its Palais des Papes and its theatre festival, is just 45 minutes away, as is Arles, with its LUMA foundation and its Rencontres de la photographie, opening the door to nearby Provence.
You can also explore the mystical Cévennes on the Stevenson Trail, or choose the beaches and wide open spaces of the Camargue for a ride on its famous white horses (a 1-hour drive).

Originally from Rome and Montpellier, Alessandro and Lionel literally fell in love with this magical place on their first visit in the summer of 2023. Without hesitation, they swapped their Parisian flat for this magnificent estate in the heart of nature. After months of renovation, they are delighted to finally welcome you and share their passion for nature, local food and the region’s unique heritage.
